Power Pro Braid Depth Hunter 80lb 1500yds

Power Pro Depth Hunter Bulk Braid

The Power Pro Depth Hunter Braid line is one of the most popular fishing lines available. As part of the Shimano line of products you can feel secure in knowing this is some of the highest quality line on the market.

The Power Pro lines of braid is extremely popular and is used far and wide by anglers around the world. What you get with Power Pro is a braid that is not only smoother, and rounder, but that is also slicker and more structurally sound than the other similar braids that are for sale. With Power Pro you are getting a braid line that has been produced with an exceptionally strong Spectra fibre that has been enhanced with a special Shimano technology that makes it stronger, smoother, and more sensitive.

In addition to the regular elements that make the Power Pro braid so spectacular it also comes with a unique color coded braid that will assist with your casting and line retrieve. The braid line is divided into 4 different colors that span 25 feet each in length. As you cast and see the same color repeat you will know you have 100 foot worth of line out. There is also a handle black indicator that marks each 5 foot section so you can accurately measure the depth of your lure.

While many of these color coded lines are considered exemplary for jigging, they actually have a lot of advantages outside of this range. Consider how beneficial it is to know your lure depth when trying to attract fish seen on a radar. When you want to set your lure very close to the bottom without snagging, or when catching live bait. This type of line is also very helpful when trolling with several lines so that you can space them properly without unwanted snagging and tangling.

Power Pro Bite Motion ORANGE Braid

Power Pro Bite Motion ORANGE Braid

High visibility braids are not uncommon, and can be useful in many fishing scenarios, from jigging to precision casting. The new Power Pro Bite Motion is a high-vis braided line with a difference though.

A dazzling orange in colour, every metre there is a 13 centimetre black band. This makes Bite Motion especially useful when fishing Squidgies, as they often get bit when in free-fall, and it can be hard to detect these often-subtle bites before the fish ejects the lure. Instead, you focus on one of the black marks as a bite indicator, and if it moves so much as a whisker, strike!

The black marks can also be useful in setting up a tight trolling spread without tangles, or when targeting fish holding at a specific depth. Simply count the number of black marks to leave the spool and you’ll be fishing with increased accuracy.
