How it works

The X-Pack is simple enough for a child to use.  Just put dirty water into the red port, and one sports syrup charge into the green port.  That's it.  The water will be filtered by the advanced forward osmosis membrane as it is drawn into the X-Pack's inner chamber.  When the process is complete, simply pour the clean drink out and restart the system.  No purifying chemicals are required, nor is any power input needed other than the sports drink syrup charges that drive the filtration process by osmosis.  The X-Pack will provide safe, hassle-free fluids from even muddy sources without clogging.

How the HydroWell works
The osmotic filter is built into a standard water can cap, and sets up in minutes for either stationary or vehicle-mounted operation.  Just fill one can with dirty water to be filtered, plug one sports syrup pouch into the cap, and the HydroWell will immediately start pumping clean drink.

HTI SeaPack Crew Self-Hydration Seawater Desaliantion Pouch

 

The SeaPack Crew is an emergency desalination filter pouch that removes 97% of salt from seawater to produce 500 ml of electrolyte enhanced emergency hydration. The package comes with three individual pouches that include a tether to secure the product to a life raft or life vest. The natural Forward Osmosis process requires no pumping and the tight membrane filter removes viruses, bacteria and cysts in addition to salt from the seawater. To use simply secure the tether, open the zip, shake the powder down into the membrane compartment and immerse the single-use pouch into seawater. The self-hydrating pouch will produce a life saving drink in as little as 8 hours.

The HydroPack is a one-time-use, self hydrating, emergency hydration pouch. Each 355 ml pouch is pre-filled with a flavored osmotic agent which, when fully hydrated, becomes a highly safe and pure electrolyte enriched drink. The lightweight, compact re-sealable package contains 6 HydroPack water filters. The natural Forward Osmosis process requires no pumping and the tight membrane filter removes viruses, bacteria, heavy metals and cysts. Simply place the pouch in any water source and it will self hydrate. The pouch itself is the forward osmosis membrane filter that allows the pouch to draw in water and reject even the harshest contaminants. The pouch will hydrate in approximately 10 hours. Once hydrated, insert a straw to consume.

Intended for emergency use, the SeaPack produces a potentially life-saving drink directly from seawater in a reusable bladder.  The filtered drink is very similar to the juice from pressed grapes and provides important calories that wil be a source of energy boosting nutrients during an emergency survival situation.

The SeaPack is a multi-use emergency desalination filter that removes 97% of salt from seawater to produce 500 ml of electrolyte enhanced emergency hydration drink per use. This filter can be used 8 times in seawater over 10 days. The SeaPack comes with eight 4 oz. grape nutrient charges. The SeaPack is simple to use; just inject one 4 oz. nutrient charge bottle into the green port, and fill the red port with saltwater. Nature takes over from there, osmotically drawing fresh water through the membrane while rejecting salt molecules. The filter will produce a life saving drink in as little as 5 hours.

Because the SeaPack is passive, there is no pumping involved. This is obviously an advantage if the user has been injured and would have difficulty operating a pump-style system.
