Alvey Bait Sieves are used in conjunction with the bait pump.
To allow pumping in deeper water, flotation can be added to the sieve by attaching a 16” bicycle tyre tube or any other flexible flotation device such as a Pool Noodle.
These can be tied on with electrical zip ties.
Sand falls through the sieve leaving the yabbies behind.
Attach a rope from the floating sieve to your waist or leg when working in deeper water.

Most reels are available with the spigot and some with fixed G clamps as part of the frame. A spigot version winch has the advantage to swivel in the selected mounting system to suit the angler. A clamp lever in all mounting systems allows the swivelling winch to be clamped at any angle. All mounts also have a retaining screw to stop the winch being accidentally removed. The economy G clamp is not recommended for use with Reef Queen or Reef King reels due to their weight.
Large bucket holds a good supply of blue pilchards comfortably and has stainless steel hinge pins for longer life, guaranteeing the lid will never fall off at the hinges. This bucket is designed to fit on the rod bucket belt and are UV stabilised. Iconic Aussie tackle company Alvey has released a couple of new fishing accessories just in time for summer.
Alvey says its very popular Green and Gold wading bag has been a market leader for nearly 10 years. As a result Alvey has added a bigger, bolder wading bag to its accessory line up. The New Premium Alvey bag is bigger and made of much heavier fabric to withstand fish spikes and other wear and tear.
Anglers rely on their wading bag when walking long distances on the beach or when fishing shoulder to shoulder during a ferocious bite period.
