Most reels are available with the spigot and some with fixed G clamps as part of the frame. A spigot version winch has the advantage to swivel in the selected mounting system to suit the angler. A clamp lever in all mounting systems allows the swivelling winch to be clamped at any angle. All mounts also have a retaining screw to stop the winch being accidentally removed. The economy G clamp is not recommended for use with Reef Queen or Reef King reels due to their weight.
