Beaver’s V Series chain blocks feature a safety load limiting clutch protection which results in greater work safety when lifting. This range of chain Blocks have been carefully developed to comply with Australian Standards. They are to be used for vertical lifts only as if they are side loaded or used horizontally, jamming of the loader chain and damage to the blocks may occur.
The V-Series Chain Block has all the features of the Beaver 3G chain blocks, but with extra safety built in.
The load chain is made of high resistance, Grade 80 Alloy Steel, black finish, heat treated, calibrated and marked according to Australian standard of AS1418.2.
All Beaver chain block gears are fitted with industrial Roller bearings.
Incorporating a safety overload clutch (limiter) mechanism, an added safety precaution, as the hand chain stops operating when overloaded by approx. 30% more than the rated W.L.L. to prevent severe overloading of the chain block.
The addition of the overload clutch (limiter) reduces down time, repair costs and extends the life of the chain block.
Every Beaver 3G Industrial Chain Block is operationally tested to its rated capacity and is supplied with a Beaver test certificate, relating to its stamped identification side plate.
Beaver ‘ID’ plates and rivets are supplied in stainless steel and non conductive material in order to avoid dangerous sparking, making them ideal for underground mining.
