BLA Sea Anchor

A range of compact collapsible open ended economy sea anchors or drogues, designed to compliment any boat’s safety equipment.
Ideally suited to a wide range of applications and situations including slowing the vessel’s speed in a following sea or strong winds, slowing the rate of swing at anchor, slowing and controlling the wind drift rate and keeping a vessel’s direction true in tidal situations.
Manufactured from reinforced coated PVC with 25mm webbing reinforcements that run the length of the sea anchor for additional strength. The webbing continues at either end to create a long towing bridle and trailing end attachment used to make retrieval easy. A loop is incorporated into the webbing at either end for attaching the towing and retrieval ropes. Note that these sea anchors have been designed and manufactured for general boating use, not storm use.
