Gimbals’ are a good choice if you are only going to fish occasionally and would like to keep the equipment completely removable and stowed when not in use. We do strongly suggest to look under the gunwale and make sure the flush mount you are using is securely bolted as well as use a backing plate for heavy duty use.
The uniqueness of adapting fishing equipment to a gimbal mount allows an easy installation. When not in use; it can be removed to return the boat to its original condition.
