We all know that berley can be the key to increased fishing success, but berleying the wrong way or in the wrong spot is worse than no berley at all, as it will draw the fish away from your carefully set baits. 

The Secret Weapon Berley Bomb is a brilliant way of getting berley into exactly the right spot, as its streamlined design beats the current and gets the berley down to where it's going to do the most good – whether that be mid-water or right on the bottom. 

Additional lead can be added to the internal weight cartridge if needed, but the Secret Weapon Berley Bomb also has a hole drilled in the nose so it's possible to tie on a snapper sinker for additional weight when fishing in deep water or an extra strong current. 

Rig it on a heavy handline – perhaps with a short length of wire at the business end as sharks have been known to pinch the odd one – and you're away. 

Secret Weapon Berley Bombs are traditionally used offshore, but are equally effective in estuary situations, such as when bait fishing for bream in a strong tidal run. 

Berley can be chook pellets, chopped pilchards, prawn shells, fish cubes, bread soaked in tuna oil – whatever takes your fancy – or you can use the Secret Weapon Berley Mix to really get those fish on the chew.
