The Tranx provides anglers with a new design in reels not yet seen on Australian shores, it combines the comfort and castability of a low profile baitcaster and the capacity and drag power of a more conventional troll reel.Essentially it is the ultimate in large level wind casting baitcasters available on the market today, this reel is sure to break new ground and records around our great country.

Shimano has packed this weapon with some of its greatest features, namely X ship with its bearing supported pinion gear and HEG gearing provide immense cranking power unrivalled by its competitors. X-ship also eliminates friction between the pinion gear and spool shaft, enabling tremendous free spool for super long casts.Tranx also feature a VBS cast control system allowing the angler to fine tune the reels casting ability to suit their favourite lure or bait setup, seven shielded ARB bearings and super stopper help for smooth operation with minimal back play. A Dartanium Drag punching an 11kg max setting should stop those big rampaging fish, a large Power handle provides the ultimate grip in the heat of battle and while working lures.

Two versions of the Tranx are available, 500 HG and 500 PG, both hold approx: 380 metres of 50lb power pro, the 500HG is a high gear version boasting a 6.6:1 retrieve that halls 107cm per crank. The 500PG is a power gear version with a 4.6:1 retrieving 75cm.
